Brick replacement & brickwork repair

Deep fill capability for brick replacement

PointMaster has deep fill capability for brick replacement.

Sometimes, particularly with old walls and buildings, bricks can crumble and even fail completely. If left untreated, this can effect the building's structural integrity. But replacement is an intricate and often time consuming process. Ensuring a good quality fill is essential for structural re-inforcement, but by using conventional methods this is often difficult to achieve..

The PointMaster once again makes this process simple. Once the brick has been seated, the Point Master can fill the joint from front to back around the other surfaces. The entire process is greatly simplified. Joints should be struck and finished as required.

By completely refilling the joint, structural integrity can then be restored.

One of the great strengths of the PointMaster is its ability to infill to a far greater depth than other tools available. This is largely due to its hi capacity nozzle, which allows mortar to flow freely to the back of the joint.

One reported customer application was a dockside repair; where tidal river water had ingressed far into the dock side, risking collapse of the dock front. Repairs were undertaken and made good in one tidal phase.

Other applications for Point Master

The tool is suitable for most applications using regular cement mortar, lime mortar and grout for flooring. It works with most common mix ratios, and is fine with mortar colourant and other mortar additives. The links below show projects and short videos of some examples of uses for Point Master.
